Why the name "Beehive"?

The Beehive model is based upon the life of the Bumblebee. A typical nest has 50-200 bees per hive. This quantity serves as an ideal function for a strong communal structure. Beehives, specifically the Bumblebee nest, are always constructed by a single queen bee, who upon emerging from winter hibernation, collects pollen and nectar from flowers and searches for a suitable nesting site. Everything these bees produce are healthy : bee pollen, honey, royal jelly and are considered "a whole food";. Man can actually live a healthy life cycle by consuming just bee pollen!

The Beehive modality of only having 150 members is from a popular marketing book called The Tipping Point by Malcom Gladwell. I'm what he refers to in this book as a 'Connector'.

Happiness

"It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about. Remember happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think."

-- Dale Carnegie
